SAPinsight SEE17 - Superuser Experience Event

During the day, there can be multiple sessions during the same time slot.  The track colors will help you distinquish the types of sessions during any time slot.  Below is a description of the type of content you can expect in each track.

1. Foundation (soft skills) Learning
These sessions demonstrate or teach skills or techniques in the soft skills such as communication, leadership, styles, behaviors, etc...

2. Technology Learning
These sessions demonstrate or teach participants about, or how to use, or usage techniques about a specific technology.

3. Learning About Super User Programs
These sessions are customer stories about Super User programs and practices for building, sustaining, and maturing Super User programs.

4. Looking to the Future
These sessions are more future thinking about either technology or practices that are either emerging or possibilities. These sessions are great for keeping Super Users current, and even ahead of the game, about trends.

First up on our Experience is our Executive Support.

Tony Caesar, Vice President & CIO, PrimeSoure Building Products, SAPinsight Executive Advisory Board Chair, and ASUG National Board of Directors member, will welcome you to SEE17.  Come hear why Tony has supported SAPinsight and Super Users from our launch in 2013.

Steve Shander, Chief Customer Officer, SAP, and ASUG National Board of Directors member, will share his organizations mission and why Super Users are a critical layer of the enterprise landscape.

Both Tony and Steve are passionate, transparent, and approachable.  This will be a SUPER start to your Experience.

While a majority of companies with enterprise applications fail to adequately support their end user population, even fewer succeed at building and managing a sustainable super user network.  As evolution in this regard has been sloth-slow over the past thirty years, we have finally arrived at a tipping point in the marketplace whereby companies that have not evolved now find themselves in need of a “Super User (R)evolution”.  Michael will briefly describe the landscape of past failures and how, through the leadership of Ginger Luttrell and many others in her sphere are leading a true revolution. Through their ever-more-formalized methods, the enterprise applications world is moving into an environment wherein the super users are gaining both respect and improved practices by which they increasingly bring measurable (and visible!)  business benefit to their companies. Your takeaway is the knowledge of what can now be accomplished and how you can join in the growing vanguard of Super User revolutionaries.

You have Super Users by default or by design.  If you do not official organize or recognize them, they are still there.

In this engaging panel discussion facilitated by our Keynote and author, Michael Doane you will hear a collaboration between different roles supporting a Super User Network.  Each will share insights on key topics from their own unique journeys and perspectives of the Super User space.  Learn their "why".  Learn about the different partner organizations involved including IT and COE.

The ASUG Dallas/Ft. Worth Chapter welcomes Super Users to their fall meeting reception at GDT (General Datatech), complete with local food trucks and drinks, along with a tour of their very cool office.
